I purchased some items from ATTICA ACE HARDWARE and the one item had been opened. It was the last one so I had no choice. The part was defective and missing a part. I took it back and was refused a refund. The ACE website says satisfaction guaranteed and 30 day return policy. BUT if the store is independently owned as is ATTICA ACE HARDWARE there is no return policy. I called ACE customer service and was told its up to the store owner and the 30 day return policy does not apply. I spoke with the manager and was told if you open the box the product is yours good or bad or wrong part or defective you own it. Its up to the customer to take it up with the manufacturer. That even means you have to pay to ship it to the manufacturer for evaluation. ATTICA ACE HARDWARE claims customer service I wonder where it is. The owners son is a piece of work. On another occasion he gave me the wrong size part and gave me a hard time just asking a question about ordering the correct size part and I hadn't even left the store. He is above everyone and even the employees can't stand him. Unless dad is there he will not help you and has a real attitude. Something to think about when buying a gift from ATTICA ACE HARDWARE ---- NO RETURNS This ACE store owner also owns the ACE WARSAW HARDWARE.
